Our Story
Our Story
GHT has been serving behavioral health clients in the Fort Worth area since 2006. Through partnerships with community agencies, employee assistance programs, veterans services, and homeless programs, GHT has served as an innovative model, integrating behavioral services with other safety-net social supports. Now, we have taken the next step to add primary healthcare, furthering our effort to provide access to under served members of our community.
Meet the Team
Our GHT providers have many years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health, and physical health needs including special populations such as forensics, substance abuse, dual-diagnosis, chronic and persistent mental illness, and geriatric care.

Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
Tammie is a board-certified Adult-Geri NP, serving patients age 12 and older. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology, a bachelor's degree in nursing, and master's degree in nursing. Tammie has been providing primary care in a house calls practice since 2017 and she enjoys partnering with her patients to achieve and maintain a healthier life.
Tammie's nursing career has included working in cardiopulmonary home health, hospice and palliative care, and in the cardiovascular ICU.
Prior to becoming a nurse, Tammie worked in a leadership role to bring community mental health services to the people of Tarrant County. She loves spending time with her family, sailing, hiking, and traveling but most of all, she loves caring for others.
